Couple of weeks ago, I opened the back of my Nikonos V camera to load a roll of 35mm film and discovered there was a half exposed roll already in there. 

"Well that's a first", I thought while simultaneously cursing lost slivers of time and effort. "Never done that in 40 years of shooting."

Being frugal, I shut the back, wound on a couple of frames and here's the rest of the roll.

I now chuck a sticky note on the camera with a message to myself e.g. "LOADED Portra 400"
